Trece Marias was born from a love of discovery — of the textures, stories, and people that make every place unique. Each piece we curate is found through slow journeys and meaningful connections with designers and artisans in Latin America.
Our collections feature handbags, accessories, home décor, and other treasures, all released in small drops inspired by a place and a feeling. Nothing rushed, nothing mass-produced — only what feels true, beautiful, and lasting.

Hi, I'm Ilse!
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to beautiful things with a story, pieces that feel personal, that you stumble upon while exploring the culture of a new place. After years in the corporate world, I decided to create Trece Marias as a way to connect my love for travel, design, craftsmanship, and the richness of my Latin heritage.
Through every drop, I hope to bring you closer to the places and people that inspire me — from local artisans in Mexico to emerging designers across Latin America.
The name Trece Marias is deeply personal. It’s inspired by the most important women in my life — all named María — and by Las Tres Marías, the constellation known as Orion’s Belt. I’ve always been fascinated by constellations, the number thirteen (trece in spanish), and the symbolism of connection and light. Together, they represent the women, places, and creative energy that guide this project, just like stars leading the way.
